Geeks Gadget: The First Waterproof Camera

General Imaging issued its first model of digital camera (GE G3WP), which has a fully waterproof casing and can be photographed under water (up to 3 meters) without using additional boxes.

In doing so, the model looks stylish without the elements of the “brutality”, is usually characteristic of such cells.

GE G3WP added a directory of available (for the buyer) cameras in 2009, with “on board” 12.2 MP sensor, a lens with a 4x optical zoom, 2.7-inch LCD display with integrated motion sensor lighting.

The manufacturer is also turning its attention to the existence of the new functions such as the automatic choice of scenes and panoramic photography.

Geeks Gadget: Samsung TL320 Digital Cameras

Samsung announced the new TL320 and HZ15W 12 Megapixel compact digital cameras. Both cameras have a 12 Megapixel image sensor. The TL320 features a Schneider-KREUZNACH lens with 5x zoom and 24mm wide angle, while the HZ15W has a Schneider Lens wih 10x optical zoom and 24mm wide angle.

The TL320 has a 3-inch AMOLED hVGA display and the HZ15 gets a 3-inch LCD screen. They both offers 720HD video recording capability, dual image stabilization (digital and optical), Face Detection, Smile Shot, Blink Detection, Beauty Shot and Red-eye Fix.

Samsung TL320 will be released in May 2009 for $379.99 and the Samsung HZ15W in March 2009 for $329.99.

Currently, I was searching for a new camera for this coming Kaamulan Festival in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. In order to have a good quality of Pictures for my tourism blogs. I found this cool gadgets and this is really cool.

The new firmware will allow E-3 users to select the AF target by pressing the arrow keys, improve autofocusing accuracy with fast lenses (f/2 and faster), improve continuous/servo AF performance and provide longer battery life when the camera is used with the HLD-4 battery holder.

Because this update will reset all camera settings to factory settings, photographers are advised to record camera settings before updating the firmware. Mhmm.. I think i need this cool gadget as soon as possible.
