Sure, Amazon could pit the Kindle squarely against phone- and PDA-based e-book apps, but why not play both sides? The company had previously mentioned its desire to embrace non-Kindle devices in its digital delivery ecosystem, and the first fruits of that labor have now hit the iPhone App Store.
The uncreatively-named Kindle for iPhone allows you access to all of your Kindle content right from the comfort of your iPhone or iPod touch, and if you have the good fortune of owning an honest-to-goodness Kindle, Whispersync will kick in to keep your location synchronized between readers.

Whatever is keeping Palm from releasing the treo Pro CDMA and the best product they’ve created to date, the Palm Pre,
The had better fix and change course. Sprint is the carrier of choice for both devices out of the gate, and now we have news that Palm is in more trouble than thought, much like Sprint.

Apple has refreshed its desktop offerings with a new, bigger 24in iMac all-in-one computer and a smaller and greener Mac mini. The 24in iMac joins the original 20in model but comes with twice the memory and storage at 4GB and 640GB, respectively. Under the hood are Intel chips ranging from 2.66GHz to 3.06GHz and a variety of integrated or dedicated nVidia graphics solutions.
The new Mac mini measures in at 6.5 x 6.5 x 2in and is powered by a 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, with up to 4GB of DDR3 memory and a HDD up to 320GB. Apple’s claiming a 5-fold boost in performance with the GeForce 9400M integrated graphics and says it’s the greenest Mac mini to date, using less than 13W of power when idle.

Currently, Apple’s AirPort Extreme is in its sixth revision with the same name, by my count, and its third featuring 802.11n. The latest release moves from either 2.4 or 5 GHz 802.11n networking to supporting both bands at the same time. This is a hardware update, requiring a new unit, as Apple added a radio to the mix.

Apple’s iMac, Mac Mini and Mac Pro could be getting a refresh later this month. Rumours doing the rounds online Apple will hold an event to refresh the desktop machines, with all new iMac models, a revamped Mac Mini and more powerful Mac Pro launching on March 24. What will be inside the new machines? Find out after the jump!
Two separate Apple sites are citing sources for a March 24 Apple event, where the company will unveils its refreshed Mac line, including “a new Mac mini, iMac with the new NVIDIA chipset, Mac Pros with Xeon processors along with a pleasant ’surprise’.”

Garmin brother in need, Asus, has recently introduced a new Windows Mobile-powered handheld, the P835 phone.
Seen below, the quad-band GSM, EDGE, 3G and HSPA-supporting device measures 115 x 59 x 13.8 mm, weights 148 grams and features a 3.5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
The P835 is equipped with a 528 MHz Qualcomm 7201A processor, has 288 MB SDRAM, 256 MB ROM and 4GB of built-in memory backed by a microSDHC slot.

Sure the BlackBerry Bold over in Japan might be more juiced up than what we have over here, but that doesn’t mean the device is without its problems.
Japanese carrier DoCoMo has suspended all sales of the BlackBerry Bold due to overheating issues related to the device.
The Bold, which was launched on February 20th, has caused more than 30 complaints to be sent to the carrier regarding overheating keypads while charging.

Macworld reports that the unlocked version of the T-Mobile G1 is not permitted to access Google’s Android Market. Last week, Google employees began replying to questions people posted on the Android Market Help Web site about being unable to see copy protected applications in the store. “If you’re using an unlocked, developer phone, you’ll be unable to view any copy-protected application,” wrote Google employee Ash on the help site in reply to a user’s question on Friday. “This is a change that was made recently.”

Recently, Apple has launched a new service dubbed the iTunes Pass which will act as a ‘season pass’ for any artist they purchase, entitling you to music, videos, remixes and other content for the artist whose pass you purchase.
The 80′s rock pop band Depeche Mode is the first artist with a Pass available and for $18.99 USD you receive 15 weeks worth of content, including two singles and their upcoming album “Sounds of the Universe.”

Currently, BestBuy offers Premium Silver members will be able to get an iPhone 3G at BestBuy for only $99.99, in the 8GB model. The 16GB model, in either white or black, is going for $199.99 to Premier Silver members.
The reports indicate consumers will need to purchase a 2 year contract when purchasing the phone, add a new line, or be eligible for an upgrade and a data plan. All Reward Zone members can pick up an 8GB 3G iPhone for as little as $149.99 or the 16GB model for $249.99.
